Clwyd Roberts passed away on the morning of 14th December Clwyd was a stalwart of the pool league for 40 years until ill health got the better of him. A great player, and a true gent. Rest in peace

The order of break is decided by the toss of a coin. Breaks will then alternate. If there is a deciding frame then the break will be determined by the toss of a coin. The team who breaks will also referee and nominate players first.

1. The results of the tied teams againt each other
   eg, team A beat team B 5-2 at home but lost 4-3 away, team A will proceed (by 2 pt)

The biggest outcome of the meeting is that from WINTER 2022 the rules will change to blackball rules.
There are only a few differences between our rules and blackball, so it shouldnt be too big a change

The Phoenix have decided to drop out of the league.
The games that they have played so far will be removed from the list of results and the table / merits adjusted accordingly
The singles and doubles entries will also be removed giving a walkthrough to opponents
We are sorry to see them go and wish them well in the future

Since 26th December Wales has been at alert level 2.

What this means for the pool league is that In WALES  You are still legally required to wear a face covering in hospitality settings when not seated at a table to eat or drink.

The ‘Rule of 6’ also applies   Link to WALES.GOV - Alert level 2 guidance
Licenced premises must ensure there is physical distancing between individual groups of up to 6 people at their premises and must provide table service only.

Whether you agree with these rules or not please adhere to them.

The Venue can be fined heavily for non-compliance and they are entitled to refuse you entry if you do not comply
